Ein einsamer Held oder eine Heldin im Kampf gegen das Böse – diesem Erzählschema folgen unzählige Hollywood-Filme. Aber auch die US-Politik. Gerade Donald Trump versteht es, sich als Held zu inszenieren und die US-Gesellschaft und -Medienlandschaft in “Gut” und “Böse” zu spalten.


Ciani und Tong-Jin, selbst Journalistinnen, sprechen in dieser Folge über die Wechselwirkung zwischen Politik und Medien in der US-Geschichte. Wie ist die Medienlandschaft historisch gewachsen?
